Place a sauce pan on to the stove and add ghee to it
Then add few chopped almonds and saute them
Add freshly grated coconut and fry it until it smells good
Later add oats and saute for few seconds and add 1 cup of milk and let it boil
Instead of milk water can be used but milk tastes better
The above mixture turns thick as oats get cooked then add sugar and wait till sugar melts
If you want it as a paayasam, after oats get cooked add more milk that is 2-3 cups of milk and let it boil and then add sugar
After sugar get melted transfer into serving bowl and garnish it with chopped almonds and serve chill
At this stage you can add ilachi powder and then serve chill
